Insight into the home of Natural Hair in Uganda. Afros&mo has won over the afro textured women in Uganda to become Uganda’s #1 officially branded Natural hair salon. Catering to the needs of their natural hair as well as continued healthy maintenance of relaxed hair. We are dedicated and committed to seeing every Afro hair textured woman succeeds on their Natural Hair Journey.
Meet the owners:
Afros&mo is a realized vision of twin sisters (Maria & Maggie), whose natural hair journey became a source of inspiration to the women they came in contact with. These women kept asking for them to do their hair . It’s the lack of a salon that celebrates and understands afro textured hair that prompted these sisters to step up and make a home that women would be educated, catered for and feel great about their natural hair. Maggie a former banker quit her job to join forces with her sister Maria, a stay home mom to start the salon. It’s been an organic grow from a very small space to what it is currently.They celebrate the fact that more women are going natural due to the light the sisters shone upon natural hair.
