Our annual Afrikinky Rep Your country contest gives our fellow beautiful African sisters and women of African descent the opportunity to embrace their natural beauty and display and showcase their country. This is done by submitting headshot photos of themselves representing the country of their choice.
Each diva from each country entered with the most votes is the winner for that country and then they receive gifts from our amazing sponsors who offer their services for free. Our full list of sponsors include: natural hair brands, professional photographers, as well as natural hair salons from several African nations, who are all willing to help by giving free products, free photography sessions and a full natural hair makeover to potential winners in their countries.
Our goal is to expand this contest even more each year and get more countries to join in on the fun. The feedback has been amazing as we have helped women who normally wouldn’t have stepped out of their comfort zone to walk into what it takes to be bold and confident in who they are as a Queen.
